Founded in 2021, by Heather Patzner, Snowbird Media LLC offers an independent solution to businesses seeking a customized & personalized answer to their marketing needs.
As the name suggests, Snowbird Media was founded in sunny Queen Creek, AZ but has its roots in the Midwest. Patzner has 25 years in regional and national media, working inside and alongside some of the largest and most well-known brands across the Midwest region. (Gate City Bank, Essentia Health, Scheels, Forum Communications, DMF’s Giving Hearts Day, Taco Johns, and Zorbaz).

The Chick in Charge
Heather’s marketing and advertising romance took over at a young age. Her Mother is a MN native, and her father was born in Jamaican. After completing most of her education in ND, Patzner then went to High school in Kingston, Jamaica spending the next 5 years attending school and working with her father’s marketing business. “I had the opportunity to watch, and work alongside “the boss man”, and he taught me the value of good business”, says Heather.
Her father, Michael David Buckley, was a prominent marketing director himself, having worked with some of the islands most famous brands including Grace Kennedy and Isoplus Hair Products. Heather says, “In a country like Jamaica, where good/bad business decisions can mean the difference between surviving or thriving, it gave me perspective, and responsibility of care for the service of the greater community’s well-being”.
A love for travel and service lead Patzner to coursework at the University of Hawaii Manoa campus (Oahu, HI) where she also studied Travel Industry Management/Marketing, and island living. Her coursework eventually culminated in degrees from MN State University Moorhead, and the University of Hawaii.
Travel, and diversity of perspective through experience have guided Heather’s career and personal life. All of these experiences have led to the creation of Snowbird Media and their mission to connect with birds of a different feather, for the betterment of our clients.
