It is my privilege to look at the bird’s eye view of a business owner’s financial picture and evaluate options together that keep them agile, avoid risk, accelerate gains, and even save on taxes. It’s worth noting, that us birds are better off in a flock. My practice is to collaborate not only with the entrepreneur, but CPAs, loan officers, bankers, estate attorneys, and other fiduciary professionals to assure my partners are financially bullet proof.

Shared Projects

I’m most proud of a highly impactful partnership with a manufacturer out of the Twin Cities. Our firm was able to assist in three ways:

• Directly with the owner: he needed a personal life insurance plan and estate plan in order to protect his family from liabilities with the growing company. He also wanted to discuss options for retirement which included a strategic sale of the company over 10 years.
• With the HR team: we audited the group benefit offerings, made adjustments for cost and liability. We also hosted a financial basic seminar to the staff to encourage know-how and independent savvy for investing opportunities outside of group offerings.
• Employee retention: in order to maintain the leading sales staffer, a key-employee plan was put in place which boosted their contract in accordance with their contributions. This both demonstrated appreciation, but contractually secured longevity.

“If you’re a bird, I’m a bird!” If you’re out front in the middle of the flying V, that’d make me your “right hand woman” or should we say “right wing woman”? You’re in charge and I’m there to chirp in when there are questions. We cannot know what will happen mid-flight, but as long as we’ve aligned on an ideal destination we’ll get there together!
